This demonstrates use of colour in advanced tables.

Note that the bgcolor attribute is deprecated in HTML 4 and disallowed in XHTML 1.0 strict. It may be that a different mechanism may be needed in future to handle table colours. The LATEX colortbl package offers many options for colouring tables, so future enhancements may be possible.
