- Description
- We are successfully using Saxon, which is a Java-based xslt processing engiine. Will a compiled engine such as Sablotron be faster?
- Importance
- 4
- Proposed solution
- Run a timed trial using Sablotron, assuming we can get it working on Mac OS X.
- Urgency
- 3
- Status
- Closed
- Resolution
- Testing on intranet.affinity.co.nz reveals that Sablotron doesn’t like
tbcommon.xsl, but that xsltproc seems to work, and takes one second to run a simple test, vs. seven seconds for Saxon. mkpdf.pl therefore now calls xsltproc.
