- Summary
- How should new windows work?

- Description
- At the moment, all the new window options are removed. This avoids multiple new windows being created, for example by pressing Cancel on the wikipublisher confirmation screen. On the other hand, in some browsers, the result is that the pdf opens in the current window; close the window and the wiki vanishes.

- Proposed solution
- The wikipublisher server might open a new window before sending the pdf. It would only do this for “I’ll wait” requests, not “Email me” requests. Or the requesting form can do it, for both request types. We may as well do this now, as it should be easy.

- Resolution
- At the moment, pressing the botton to request a pdf opens a new window. It will do this whether the reader waits or asks for an email. This is not ideal, but better than opening the pdf in an existing window. People cllick close instead of back and this can be annoying.
