Description
When typesetting a page collection, in particular a trail page, we want to put the trail page itself before the table of contents, as a summary or introductory page. This page is not included in the contents list.

Proposed solution
Wrap the trail page, if it’s included, in a new <summary> tag. This appears to be a better option than inserting a “toc goes here” label. It will also make it easier to enrich the page layout of major sections; for example, a big section number, no page header, bigger top margin on that page.

The summary needs a <heading> and perhaps should include the url.

Resolution
Summary page provided when composing trail and search results. The search summary takes advantage of the wide spacing and paragraph options for lists. See issue 00034.
