- Description
- Currently image size is clamped to a fixed, unchanging size. It would be nice to make this size selected more intelligently, based on information like page size and which elements the image is inside. See also issue 00116.

- Proposed solution
- It recognises images which are wider or taller than the selected page size and shrinks them to fit the space.

- Resolution
- As of Wikibook version 0.9.7b, the PDF server scales down larger images to fit the available space, whether the page is A4 or A5, and whether the caption is below or beside the figure. It just works. There is also an option that lets Wikipublisher to rotate wide images.
