Description
On a fresh install on Debian 3.1 (sarge), creating a PDF fails with:

**** XSLTPROC
tbcommon.xsl: Couldn’t determine source path; no Saxon 6.5.x?
warning: failed to load external entity “/usr/local/wikibook/xml/tbook-temp-file-bib.xml”

Proposed solution
This is most likely not where the problem is. Are there any xml errors reported before this? Are there any LATEX errors reported after this? Could you email the debug list via the Wikipublisher.Contact page? Can we view the page that is failing?
In the debug output, check whether it is producing any LATEX code. If no LATEX is produced, this probably means either libxslt is not installed, or the path to it in the configuration file is incorrect.

Resolution
It turned out that tbrplent was failing. This is the binary code used to translate Unicode characters into their LATEX equivalents. On the server being used, it couldn’t find libstdc++6.
