Summary
PDF section bookmark links to below section header

Description
When you click on a bookmark for a section, it links to a spot just below the actual section header. As a reader, I was initially confused because clicking the bookmark did not seem to take me where I thought it should. The bookmark should link to the spot just above the section header so there is coherency in the browsing.

Proposed solution
There may not be anything we can do about this — the behaviour is controlled by the hyperref package and is influenced by which PDF reader one uses. Acrobat takes you to the first sentence of the section, after the heading, whereas Preview just takes you to the page. There does not seem to be anything in the hyperref manual about bookmark behaviour.

Resolution
This issue only seems to occur for article-style output; bookmarks for reports and books go to the heading. This is very strange — the hyperref call is identical in all 3 cases.
