NOTE - change align=center to valign=top and it all works fine.

My version of wikipublisher is 2.2.0.7

Proposed solution: Support for the align attribute will be added in the next release. In the mean time, use simple tables, where align options work as expected. See Examples.Advanced Table which shows a test version with this additional feature working correctly.
