- Summary
- aphorism does not respect line breaks

- Description
- I think this is a bug. It’s not an uncommon style in books to use short poems at the beginning of a chapter as the aphorism. Since I’m currently writing a poetry book, and I’d like to aphorize with some short poems, it’s important to me to have this feature.

- Proposed solution
- If you want a poem as your aphorism, I think you should be able to explicitly set line breaks with \\ and have text continue on the next line. The line breaks are already supported in PmWiki’s definition lists. Definition lists automatically create Page Text Variables such as $:Introduction — one can probably grab the formatted text by using somehow.

- Resolution
- We need to enhance wikibook.php to support explicit line breaks (\\ markup). However, using [[<<]] as an inline break will produce the desired result.
Fixed in Publish PDF 2.2.12, released Thursday, 9 July 2009.
