2.0.9 released: bug fixes only

• no new features

Bug fixes in the current release

• correct assigning of ID references to floating figures¹
• ensure keywords and abstract follow the order defined in Wikibook DTD
• correct handling of page sections when $EnablePathInfo = 1

Features expected in the next release

The next version will start the 2.1 cycle, to recognise the major addition for book publishing

• bring pdf styles into line with the PmWiki 2.1.11 wikistyles code²
• add support for print options on (:typeset-page:) and (:typeset-trail:) directives
• to reduce comment spamming, (:wikilogbox:) limits the number of external links
• add support for (:typeset-book:) markup — issue 00092
  • a book template that provides chapters of various styles, with optional aphorisms and other book elements³
  • choice of font sets and paragraph separator
• add support for nested div markup, introduced in PmWiki 2.1.12 — issue 00093
• add support for floating text styles — issue 00065
• add support for typesetting Poetry

Bugs fixed in the next release

• remove center and right styles from toc entries
• change wikiform to use a $FmtPV variable for group suffixes
• recognise the L^AT_EX entity — issue 00091
• adapt to PmWiki’s changed simple table handling
• improve handling of advanced tables

• watermark: sample (appears on every page)

¹ at the moment, the wikipublisher server doesn’t process these correctly — see issue 00089 (↑)

² each time wikistyles.php changes, we make a version for pdf that avoids hard-coded html tags and marks each style for later processing; PmWiki provides a version of wikistyles where all tag names are variables in 2.1.15 (↑)

³ the server can generate a bibliography, but this is not yet supported in wiki markup — see issue 00062 (↑)
